In Loving Memory of Adina Marie Davis
Adina Marie Davis passed away in the early morning hours of May 30, 2026, after a courageous battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. She was diagnosed in September 2025 and faced her illness with strength, determination, and love for those around her.
She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Ariana Marie Davis and Amara Nicole Davis; her mother, Virginia K. Gooden; her brothers, Allen Gooden Jr. II and Loveless Jule Gooden; and many family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Gooden Jr.; her beloved Aunt Arleen King; and her former husband, Reginald C. Davis, the father of her two daughters.
To know Adina was to love her. She had a larger-than-life personality, an unforgettable smile, and a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and loved. Her warmth, compassion, and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Friend's of her daughters often described her as a second mother. She listened without judgment, offered support freely, and always showed up for the people she cared about. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives.
Above all else, Adina was a devoted mother. Ariana and Amara were the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to loving, supporting, and caring for them. The strength, compassion, and love she instilled in her daughters will continue to be her lasting legacy.
Though she will be deeply missed, the joy she brought to others and the love she shared will never be forgotten.
