I was a little girl when I met Apostle Luster in 1979. I remember he wrote a song in the song it said: Jesus is here now reach out and touch him, Jesus is here now, let him come in, he's here to forgive, to save and to heal, he stopped by to bless us, let him come in. It's been 40 years. It still ministers to me today. Continue to rest Apostle.

Dear Family and friends. I was introduced to Ivon as being the brother of Dale Smith and sister Rita whom at that time was married to the late James Jackson. I was in a production at Langston Hughes Cultural Arts Center in Seattle. "Picture Trees Minus Their Leaves". I even had my niece and my cousin's daughter perform with me. It was so good. He chose the best singers he could find to be in it. My mother passed in 1987 he was right there willing to minister to me. I still have pictures today from the production. He played the piano and rehearsed us and did all he could to be professional. He had millionaire talent but he chose to be in Seattle as such a time as this and share his skills with us. Wow I am still in shock and hurt. Dad thank you for taking me as your own in 2001. I experienced so much more in New York because of you. To my Spiritual father , my friend and my Apostle , I have to admit that it took me this long to post something because I just was not ready and will to let you go . IVON I remember meeting you back in 1994 and I was going to pick up some Chinese food and there was you and your crew sitting down laughing and eating. , as I was going to walk out you spoke to me and from that day we became friends and I know that God put you in my life he use you to teach me the word of God...( I came from a Catholic religion ) So you see I was a baby in Christ . I say these things to say God don't make No mistake... If God can you a donkey to speak his word he can use anyone. And IVON LUSTER I thank God and you for allowing God to use you...it took me e days to write this because I just didn't wanna accept losing you ! But as the days past with me weeping and crying and calling on some of God's Warriors I was able to lay in my bed and heard the word from God saying if you love your spiritual father I gave you let him Know ..you see the dead in CHRIST has eternal life so he can hear you . IVON D iamond Luster I love you Daddy. I hear you talking to me last night... You said " ODETTE get up and rejoice and know that I am with the Lord. Stop that crying girl your going to make me cry too..you know I cry in a drop of a dime." IVON am going to miss you in the flesh but I knows that your spirit will remain in me until we meet again my my Apostle,my spiritual father and friend . your Journey has end on this earth my friend but God is preparing you to come back with him rest on my friend, Your job well done .I will see you in the air one day and we all will be having a praise dance to glorify our heavenly Father !
