Obituary

Christine

“Follower of Christ” “The Anointed One.”

“You have left our lives, but you will never leave our hearts. We lost you too soon, but your memory will live on in our hearts. May your soul fine eternal peace.” Marcella Foster.

Christine Angeline Nichols was born Christmas Day December 25th, 1970, in Seattle Washington to loving parents George Nichols and Barbara Charity. Tina was called home and reunited with her parents and Nephew Raymond J. D. Askew on November 20th, 2025.

Tina leaves to carry on her memory her loving daughters Marcella Foster, Deidra Manuel, and son in law DeRon Foster. Her cherished grandchildren Karma and Adrianna Jones, Quinton Reed, and Drayden Foster. Brothers George and Julius Nichols and Raymond Askew. Sister cousin Jeannetta Charity and God sister Shawona Wiley and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, chosen family and friends.

Tina spent a large amount of her young adult life in High Point. She attended Chief Sealth High School in West Seattle and was a proud member of the Class of 1989. Tina lived in High Point with her mother, brothers, and daughters. While living in High Point she gained more family and created an everlasting community.  She enjoyed game show games on the Nintendo, she loved Wheel of Fortune (she was very good at this game), Jeopardy and watching old game shows on tv. Tina’s love for Betty Boop and I Love Lucy lasted her lifetime. However, every waking moment was spent loving on her babies and being the best Gramma, she could be.

Christine loved creating memories with her grandchildren and reliving her childhood memories with them. She prided herself on her close relationship and bond that she had with her grandchildren. In her free time she loved escaping to Azteca for her Mexi bowls, drinking Tito’s (especially for toothaches), listening to Reddit stories, watching podcasts like Shxts & Gigs and Tonight’s Conversation, watching stand-up comedians like Nate Jackson and just spending time with her family.

As we all know Tina was a ride or die Seahawk fan, win, or lose she was a 12th woMan her closet was proof of that many time over. “She thought she was the funniest ting walking. Mom would say she was not stand up funny but was family event funny.” Deidra Manuel.

For all that she was to many of us Tina was first a mother and Grandmother. She was a daughter and a sister. Tina was a niece and a friend, and she will be forever missed.

“There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.” Marcella Foster.
