He was proceeded in death by hi mother, Ioma Grace, brother, Leon Grace, sister Viola Johnson, son John W. MonroeII
John graduated from Garfield High School and went on to work for Seattle Metro Transit, where he retired after 20 plus years.
He leaves to share his memories, father, Lionel Monroe, daughters, Sharika Simpson, Anika Gardner, son, Earl Monroe
11 grandkids, Tanayah Walker, Quandolasia Atkins-Monroe, Charmaine Walker, Totyanna Atkins, Kyiara Monroe, Tierre Monroe,  Alexus Atkins,
Breonna Nared, Patrick Gardner III, T'Aira Gardner, Yaniyah Gardner
2 great-grandkids, JazHarmony Mann, Jerimiah Walker-Falanai
brothers, Roosevelt Grace, Joe Grace, Steve Monroe, Anthony Monroe
