"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalms 34:18
Katherine Kinniebrew "Kat” was a strong woman who went through a lot in life, but she kept going no matter what. Life wasn't always easy for her, but she pushed through it with strength and did the best she could.
She loved her children and her family deeply. That love showed in real ways making sure everyone was okay, fed, and taken care of. She was a great cook, and her food brought comfort and brought people together.
My mom also carried on something meaningful for her family. She started a business to continue her brother's legacy(Elgin's Essentials), showing her loyalty and dedication to the people she loved.
She was real, strong and full of love for her family. She will be remembered for her resilience and the way she showed up for the people in her life.
She leaves behind her heart and legacy in her children: Antwanique Kinniebrew Carter, Sir Moss, Elijah Moss, Marquise Moss, Glen Kinniebrew Moss, Janahya Sampson, Carl Jr. and Elajah Moss. Siblings: Zhivonne Kinniebrew, Royce Hendrix, Derrell Hendrix and Sylvin Hendrix along with a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones who were all touched by her in their own way.
She was reunited in peace with her parents, Sylvia Dennis and Glen Kinniebrew, along with her brother Elgin Grant, children's father Carl Moss and many more all welcoming her home with love.
My mom Katherine Kinniebrew "Kat" will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered in her own unforgettable way.
