Kenneth Wayne Parks Sr

Kenneth Wayne Parks Sr. 67 of Tacoma , was called home July 24,2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 10,1956 in Houston, Texas to Edward Lee Youngblood and Dorothy May Parks. He was a devoted son,brother,husband,Father and grandfather.

Upon leaving Texas Johnny moved to Seattle, WA with the love of his life Kelly Parks of 46 years.

Kenneth was affectionately known as Uncle Johnny. He welcomed everyone, loved to barbecue and would help anyone in need.

Johnny attended Jackie Yates High School in Houston, where he was a member of the ROTC. He worked for 16 years as a janitor and retired in 2018 from Washington Care Center.

On July 24,2023 a lovely light dimmed, but we have hope because his legacy will live on through his wife and children; that we promise. His parents Edward Lee Youngblood and Dorothy May Parks; his beautiful baby girl Shontrell Thomas, and two special aunts: Betty Louise Banks and Dorothy Nell Lewis were waiting to welcome him home that day.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memories; his faithful and devoted wife Kelly Parks, two sons: Kenneth Parks Jr. and Seantrell Franks; one daughter: Destiny Hinton; a special goddaughter: Ayanna Huff; five brothers: Edward Youngblood Jr.,Raymond Youngblood,Robert Youngblood,Arthur Youngblood and McKinney Parks; two sisters: Diane Green and Patricia Eleby, and a host of other relatives and friends.
