Paul Santana (Papa Chico) Gonzales

Paul Santana Gonzales , 67 years old, of Kent Washington, went home to be with our Lord after a long struggle with Lung Cancer, Kidney and Chronic Pulmonary Disease on August 31, 2016.   Paul was born on July15, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Telesfero (Paul) Gonzales and Juanita Santana and an older brother Guadalupe Martinez.  Paul's family moved to Seattle in September of 1959 where Paul grew up and remained the rest of his life. Paul worked at the Northwestern Glass Company for 30 years, he retired in 2001.  He also later worked part time for the City of Seattle, South Park Community Center for 5 years.  Paul is survived by his wife Ellen Gonzales, and his children; Paul Richard, Alex, Elena, Brian Gallinger and Kandra Pease. Paul's surviving siblings are Maria Martinez, Beatrice De Leon, Amalia Ramirez, Patsy Aguilar and Carlos Gonzales. Paul is survived by many grandchildren, nephews, nieces and several other relatives and friends. A memorial fund has been set up to help cover funeral expenses.
