Ralph Greenwood Burke III went to be with the King peacefully from his home in Seattle, Washington, on March 2, 2017. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Jan 2nd 1944, to Lillian Owen and Ralph G Burke Jr. He was raised in Seattle, where he graduated from Garfield High school. After high school he joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country for 20 years and 1 day before retiring. During this time he traveled many places and gained new life experiences. He later relocated to Seattle Wa, where he met his wife Dona.
He became a driver for Gray Line of Seattle where he started his passion for giving tours all throughout the Greater Northwest. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, painting and cooking. He was very dedicated to his family. After holding on and fighting for 6 long years with different medical conditions, his wings were ready to fly. Ralph will always be loved and forever missed.
Ralph leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Dona Burke. Children to mourn his passing: Lamour Burke (son), Keshia Burke (daughter), Lashaundra Burke (daughter), Shelita Burke (daughter), Melissa Nuckols (daughter) Maurice Burke (son), Monica Sanders (daughter), Arelisha Burke (daughter). Grandchildren: Ariah Bennett, Nathaniel Burke, DeVaughn Woods Jr, Monikka Pegues, Emijah Spears and many many more. Aunt Geraldine Driggers, brothers Kenneth and Ron Burke, many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends. He’s preceded in death by his mother Lillian Owen and father Ralph G Burke Jr, brother Richard Brown and son Timothy Burke.
