Teeshawndra Lenell Nelson, A woman whose unwavering strenght, boundless compassion, and vibrant spirit illuminated the lives of all who knew her, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2025, at the age of 42.
Teeshawndra was born on May 17, 1983, in Seattle, Washington, to Dolly Ann Cooper and Daryl Shawn Nelson.
Teeshawndra began her journey in the vibrant city of Seattle, where she graduated from highschool with dreams that mirrored the brilliance of her personality. Her infectious laugh and radiant smile had the power to light up any room, drawing people in and making them feel welcomed and cherished.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Teeshawndra dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by her sons, Damarie Jones and Damarreon Nelson, her grandson Keyontay Jones, Mother Dolly Ann Cooper, Father Daryl Shawn Nelson, her brothers Daryl Nelson and Tony Smith, sister Ikela Nelson, great-grandmonther Mary Williams, Nieces Taleeya, Christina, and Sarah, Nephews Jaeshawn and Mike, and numerous loving Uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Danisha Smith, and her Grandmother, Barbara Jones.
Teeshawndra was not only a devoted mother to Damarie Jones and Damarreon Nelson
but also a loving figure to her niece Taleeya, whom she embraced with open arms and a heart full of love.
Teeshawndra's love extended beyond her immediate family; she had an unique ability to connect with everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Her warmth and compassion were evident in her everyday interactions, and she had a gift for making others feel valued and understood.
