Yusef Antone Brown

Yusef Brown was born in Seattle Washington on July 5th 1978. He attended Seattle Public Schools and then proceeded to graduate from Seattle Vocational Institute (SVI). He later went on to attend Walla Walla State College where he became a graduate of the Graphic Design Program. Graphic Design was something he enjoyed and was very passionate about. He then worked as a warehouse assistant for Open Square. When Yusef smiled, he lit up the room and his presence was powerful. His favorite saying was “Always keep in mind that cubic zirconians never shine like diamonds, I’m something of greater value. More like a hidden treasure!!” Yusef was definitely one of kind... To know him was to love him. He impacted so many different peoples life’s in a positive way. He always looked at the glass as half full instead of half empty and always found the words to encourage and lift up others. He was an amazing friend, companion, provider and so much more. He is loved by many and was respected by all. 

Yusef was preceded in death by: His Father, Leeroy Brown; His Grandparents, Emma and Lonnie Watson; His Brother, Larae Tierre; His Sister, Marietta Brown; His Aunt, Latonya Watson.

Yusef is a hardworking Father, Son and Grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory: 

His Mother, Dyan Watson Brown; His Daughter, Amare Brown (Jessie Surgers); His Son, Larae Brown; His Granddaughter, Jayla Surgers; His oldest Brother, Lamondo Brown Sr.; His Nephews, Deshea Lee, Lamondo Brown Jr., Azhani Brown; His Niece, Telisheon Brown; His Great Niece, Skye Casey.
