Micah B Daniel is a native of North Carolina, has been in Seattle for 15yrs and is loving it! My desire is to make the process simple for you our families!

Reshell D Wilson is a Native to Muskogee, Oklahoma, a member of the Cherokee Nation, has lived in Seattle with her family for the past 24 years. Reshell loves Seattle’s rainstorms but misses the snow at Christmas.

She has always had a passion for caring for others in birth, life, and death. She formerly worked at the University of Washington in the Medical Department, and in 2015 when MB Daniel Mortuary Services opened, she saw an opportunity and took it.

Reshell is a valuable and loyal member of her church community and an involved community member, parent, and grandparent. Resell desires to continue to serve the public in a respectful and non-bias way.

Mr. Kalisto Zenda Nanen (he/ze/they)

Mr. Kalisto Zenda Nanen (he/ze/they)

Funeral Director/Embalmer Intern, Communications & Development Coordinator, Resident Death Guide

Kalisto Zenda Nanen a native to Chicago, Illinois by way of Memphis, Tennessee, and Missoula, Montana has lived in Seattle, Washington for the past 6 years and loves the people and community here. He is a student at Lake Washington Institute of Technology with a passion for providing customized services for all.

Kalisto entered the funeral service last year after several years of working in Non-Profits and Student Involvement. He has always been interested and invested in the preservation and care of human stories, both during life and in celebrating stories after death.

With a background in cemetery preservation, legacy work, and Interfaith traditions, and an interest in preserving Black History and Adaptive Funeral Practices, Kalisto works to assist each family in making their arrangements according to their needs and wishes.

Kalisto was working in Community Engagement when he reached out to MB Daniel about furthering his education & career with them. “I am honored to have the chance to serve my community with a team that shares the values of dignity, respect, and utmost care for the deceased.”
